As I’ve shared previously, there are many styles of homeschooling. It’s taken a few years, but I feel as though we finally have gotten our rhythm and style working for us. I’ve tried in the past to use a style of homeschooling that I am very drawn to, but it was so not a good fit for my kids. Where did we land?
After doing much research and trying different styles I determined that for our family, we would follow a Charlotte Mason style philosophy. That means that we did not start out following Charlotte Mason, in fact, it has taken a few years to really find our flow, but now that we have we are really getting into our groove. See? It’s okay if it takes some time when homeschooling to find what is right for you and your family. While I say we follow a Charlotte Mason style philosophy we are very eclectic in our approach to Ms. Mason’s philosophy. I am excited to share with you more what our day to day looks like and how we spend our school days.
